Chocolate Caramel Shortbread Irish | Passportsandseedpackets's Weblog
https://passportsandseedpackets.wordpress.com/2011/03/14/chocolate-caramel-shortbread-irish
Laquo; My Irish brown bread. In search of Inspector Lewis. Chocolate Caramel Shortbread Irish. I have translated the measurements from weights to volume. You can’t find Kerry Cream here, but it’s really just sweetened condensed milk. Look for Lyle’s Golden Syrup in the international or baking aisle of your grocery store.). 1 stick butter, softened. Cup Lyle’s Golden Syrup. Tin of Kerry Cream. About cup chocolate chips, melted. This entry was posted on March 14, 2011 at 3:42 pm and is filed under food.

Laquo; What to eat at the airport. Chocolate Caramel Shortbread Irish. My Irish brown bread. I was once asked – by an American, of course – why there was no soda in Irish soda bread. What? That’s like asking why there are no chocolate chips in chocolate chip cookies. She apparently had a “traditional” soda-bread recipe from her family that contained no soda. I’d say that’s not soda bread. Marty’s Irish Brown Bread. This recipe uses weight measurements; it’s the only way I’ve ever made it.).

Our life in Seattle. Stories of dogs, gardening, travels and other daily adventures. Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Waiting for the sun. It's been a hard Spring in terms of weather for us, so we have taken advantage all 3 nice days we've had so far. We have been exploring play grounds and enjoying playing in the grass. Both of Finley's grandparents visited for her birthday and and had lots of fun. I don't think she had any complaints about having two birthday celebrations. This is my favorite photo. Sneak Peek: R...

Our life in Seattle. Stories of dogs, gardening, travels and other daily adventures. Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Finley is officially a toddler. I'm not sure what kinds of thoughts she has yet because the only words she can say are - more, mom, dad, goose, pax, the dogs, bat, water, food, moon. I'm pretty sure, though, that she thinks "what would be the worst thing I could touch right now" and then she goes for it. Is it breakable? Yes I should drop it" will it call a random person if I press the buttons?

Our life in Seattle. Stories of dogs, gardening, travels and other daily adventures. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. We are moving in 4.5 short months! We aren't making any major plans until we find out. We are moving either way, but it will change things a bit. He will apply 2-3 times if needed to get in. It often takes awhile. What town do we want to live in? Where will I work? What will Ben do if he doesn't get in this round? How will we get our stuff there without renting a storage unit? Things I won't...

Our life in Seattle. Stories of dogs, gardening, travels and other daily adventures. Saturday, January 14, 2012. Sunset from a few days ago. We had a little bit of snow today. Here is Finley's favorite project - organizing her lotions, salves, creams etc. They have to be organized by size and each one has to be shaken and thoroughly inspected. Friday, January 13, 2012. In search of Inspector Lewis. April 25, 2011. Looking for Inspector Lewis? Or perhaps Morse I confess I never watched much of Morse, he was just so depressing. At least Lewis has that cute Hathaway as contrast. Whichever detective is on your list of favorites, you can find him around almost any corner in Oxford. Take a bus from the station into the city center, and head for a morning stroll through the University of Oxford Botanic Garden. A man stopped and listened. Then he said, That’s my college wo...
