But the outing I was thinking about for this last day required a lot of walking and standing and I feared we might have pushed our limits with that. Saturday, August 10, 2013. We started Saturday, about noon, with a pedicab tour of Central Park. Pedicabs are the bicycle powered rickshaws. The tour was about an hour, with a couple of stops to get out and take pictures. It is a great way to get the lay-of-the-land. Otherwise, you will wear yourself out walking the park. Saturday, August 10, 2013. In all the time I have lived here and all the trips before that, I have never made it to Brooklyn. In many 'Top 10 things to do' lists for NYC, walking the Brooklyn Bridge is always there . AND eating pizza at Grimaldi's under the bridge. Even Paige and her school entourage had that on their itinerary. There are 3 bridges between Manhattan and Brooklyn. They are the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge and the Williamsburg Bridge - BMW. Turns out, we stumbled on the big story.
