So much to do, and so little time. June 24, 2009. They weren’t kidding when they said they wouldn’t wait long to start a family! Grandchild #4 is coming in February! I have had to bite my tongue for a week until today’s appointment. Cydne went to the Doctor today, and guess what? She and Christopher are going to be a mommy and daddy! I’m not sure who he/she looks like. I’m not even sure I knew what I was looking at! Right now he/she is about 1/2 inch long and growing like a weed! This is so much fun!

So much to do, and so little time. July 15, 2009. Sister Camp at Bebe and Poppy’s. This week is the second ever Sister Camp. It is a time for sisters to be spoiled rotten for a week and then sent back home to mom and dad and little brother Creighton. It started with a pig pickin’ for Auntcy and Uncle Christopher on Saturday night. Mommy danced with Creighton. Daddy danced with the campers. Ben and Katie leaned to the right. Sunday afternoon we went for a ride on Uncle Franklin and Aunt Jennie’s boat.

Since getting back from Israel I have had to write six papers, three sermons, attend Annual Conference, and start a new class in Charlotte. Finally, I have caught up and caught my breath. So much to do, and so little time. May 16, 2010. To see tears well up in the eyes of a few old sailors was very moving to say the least. They could not believe that a Vice Admiral would take time out of his unbelievably busy schedule to write a personal letter to the four of them. It was the first time that they had ever received that kind of recognition and the pride they had in serving their country was evident through their tears. It was one of the greatest privileges of my life! On May 26, 2010.

Tuesday, September 21, 2010. I still love it up there and would move back in a heartbeat. On Saturday we went to the Duke/Alabama game. It was a long, hot day, but we had a great time and Sam was a champ. The sun was brutal and we only lasted in the stands long enough to see the first touchdown (which only took about 2 minutes-Roll Tide! Before we found some shade so unfortunately I didn't get to watch very much football but I had an excuse to hold my boy all day long so I was content. Back to School 2012.

Monday, July 25, 2011. Miller was such bathing beauty and got so much attention on the beach. This child is fearless! She loved the water, sand, and making a mess. Friday, December 24, 2010. Now that Christmas Eve is finally here I am sooo excited for tomorrow! This is the first year James has really understood what Christmas is all about.
