I miss high school! Do you remember the days when you yearned for the final bell to ring on the last day of school, knowing you could forget about homework for a while, run out into the sunshine with an empty backpack and a weight lifted off your shoulders? You have no idea how many times I wrote the words "YES" and "GOOD" while correcting student's journals today! Here's a little update on tour preparations:. I'll be there for two whole weeks of tech-hell goodness. It's the second tour of this show ...

Well so, this is a blog huh? This is my first effort at putting my thoughts down on paper since I was a kid writing in my pink diary with the lock on the side. obviously, this isn't paper. It'll have to due. I'm hoping to use this blog to keep you all update of the ups and downs of my second cross-Canada Fringe Festival tour. I'll have the opportunity to work with some amazing people - and Stewart too! It's really because I'm insanely jealous of how talented he is that I tease him so.). Until next time,.

Twelve kids, realism and a headache later. I am truly amazed at my difficult morning. I have had the good fortune to teach drama (specifically commedia dell'arte, clown and exploration of classic texts) to a group of young children ranging from 5 to 13 years of age for the past couple of years now. Well, there's one aspect of this whole plan that we didn't really think of. that we didn't realise at the time would be a major obstacle - their great difficulty with learning lines! Orgy and useless emotions. I'm an actor. My fiancé is an actor. We are aware and understanding that, sometimes, he or I will be cast in a show that will require one of us to (pretend) perform certain acts that conceivably should only be performed between the two of us in the privacy of our own home. Let me clarify the situation:. My fiancé was cast as an evil spirit of sorts in Opera Lyra. S Les Contes d'Hoffman - great for him! He used to be a professional ballet dancer. nothing new for him there. The w...

This is more or less a test. to see if I'm technologically advanced enough to post a picture to my blog. Though, it does serve another purpose. now you know (or are reminded of) what I (and Stewart) look like! Posted by Natalie Joy @ 3/25/2005 01:42:00 PM. Though I really should be doing homework, I've decided to blog-about a bit. hoping that it clears my mind of useless information (for you to read) and allows the smart "me" to peak through (which you won't see. at least today.). My friends tell me that...

I have made a decision. well, sort of. So, here they are:. Romeo and Juliet - Shakespeare. Mouchoir de Nuages - Tristan Tzara. Criminal Genius - George F. Walker. The odd thing is that I'll probably be directing a translation instead of the English language text. more info on why that is once the "deal" has gone through. Let's just say a very interesting proposal has been presented to me. So, how crazy am I for putting two Shakespeares on my list. and wanting to direct them in French no less? Mar 24, 2005.

Relaxin' and hangin' in beautiful and picturesque. SUDBURY? At least I get free internet at my hotel! 52 Pick-up is coming along slowly but surely. The last rehearsal Stewart and I had was mostly spent trying out various lifts. none of which are actually useful for the show. but they are a good excuse for us to crawl all over each other. As if we need an excuse! So that's about it for now. I'll surely post another blog later on. Sudbury doesn't have much in the way of entertainment! THINGS THAT I READ.
