Making choices, becoming good self-advocates, interacting with the community, social awareness, and of course, how to have fun in all you do, are just some of our areas of Life Skill Training. That is a bold, but true statement. Everyone at Pathways takes real pride in their efforts towards increasing independence. While it may not be visible when someone walks in the door, each activity is designed to be fun, but functional.

To an average person with a minor back injury, therapy is a short term experience. For our participants who spend most of their day strapped into a wheelchair, therapy becomes a necessary part of life. Often the question is when will therapy stop? In short the answer is we hope never . Our goal is to increase mobility whenever possible.
