Thomas' Forced Reports: July 2006
http://forcedreports.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 22, 2006. When you don't have anything better to do. My friends and I perform a skit. Posted by Myself @ 9:37 AM. Monday, July 17, 2006. Sisters are such fickle creatures. The upshot of all this? Nothing, the raccoon ate the squirrel and in gratitude I guess for us eventually letting it alone, left a goodly portion of meat in our tree. How dare they eat a squirrel that a few months ago was on their Top 10 evil creatures list for pushing birds eggs out of trees! Posted by Myself @ 4:28 PM.

Bach by popular demand… | Mathemusicality
https://mathemusicality.wordpress.com/2008/12/31/bach-by-popular-demand
A Blog, again. Bach by popular demand…. Well, as requested. At any rate…. Here is an analysis of the first two measures of the B-flat major Prelude from WTC I. This analysis breaks some of the rules (well, one in particular) of strict Westergaardian theory as expounded in ITT. In fact, it does so twice (at two distinct stages). Exercise: see if you can identify the rule that is broken, and give a convincing rationale for relaxing it. 1 The basic structure:. 3 Anticipate the G in the soprano:. Your analys...

Thomas' Forced Reports: October 2006
http://forcedreports.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 27, 2006. Dude, that's like. So gaia. Yes, once again we approach that holiday that is hidden deep inside a multi layered shield of commercialism, hidden by not calling the holiday by its true name and the holiday that has been separated from almost all religious aspects. Yes, I am talking about Samhain, (or, pah, as secular people call it, "Halloween"). No, the only question they ask is one day after Samhain, "Why all the candy? Because that's what Samhain is really about! Classmate "Oka...

Saturday, October 21, 2006. Currently, medical data shows that very few methods are very affective at prevention of the spread of disease. In most the world the position of women have made them more vulnerable and unable to prevent contact with the disease. Examples that the doctors gave were in Uganda and India. Condoms are n...

Thursday, May 11, 2006. At least there is lasagna. I feel like I have had a whole week of Mondays. From my crazy networks project, to my crazy father, to my advisor leaving, to finally hit today. Where I get home and the doorknob is missing, and a cop busts some kid right next to me. Posted by Andy R. Terrel. Links to this post.

J.S. Bach: Air from Orchestral Suite No. 3, mm.1-2 | Mathemusicality
https://mathemusicality.wordpress.com/2008/05/31/js-bach-air-from-orchestral-suite-no-3-mm1-2
A Blog, again. JS Bach: Air from Orchestral Suite No. 3, mm.1-2. Recall that in a previous post. I challenged readers to analyze the first two measures of the Air from Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major (a piece, incidentally, that might be better referred to as “Air Off. The G-String” than by its usual nickname). The time has come to reveal the answer. Our passage is the following:. How did I know that D was the span pitch of the second half of beat 2 rather than C#? Eliminating the borrowed G and...
