A Fort Made of Books: An Irish Country Wedding
http://afortmadeofbooks.blogspot.com/2015/05/an-irish-country-wedding.html
A Fort Made of Books. Theology, Art, Entertainment, and Cat Litter in Missouri, USA. Thursday, May 14, 2015. An Irish Country Wedding. An Irish Country Wedding. I had just resolved not to skip ahead in a series of books I was following when I borrowed this audiobook read by John Keating from the county library. Looking back, I think the librarian told me at the time that it wasn't the fourth book in the Irish County series - that would be An Irish Country Girl. Robin D Fish Jr. Back in my seminary days.

Between the Volcanoes: March came in like a lamb..
http://thefivebakers.blogspot.com/2013/03/march-came-in-like-lamb.html
Monday, March 11, 2013. March came in like a lamb. So it will probably go out like a lion. In the meantime we are basking in this warm, early spring weather and taking fun pictures. I've been spending some 'quality' time ;) with Peggie; taking a great hike up at the Spatter Cones Trail and checking out the lambs her ewes have been dotting the ranch lands with. First the hike. Papa and I have done the Spatter Cones. The views, as usual, were beautiful. Here are a couple more images of the area at the top ...

Between the Volcanoes: March 2012
http://thefivebakers.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Mad as a March hare. The weather, that is. It's behaving as unpredictably as Lewis Carrol's proverbial crazy rabbit! Spring can't make up it's mind about coming in like a lamb, going out like a lion or vice versa; we've had it both ways the past coupla weeks. After one quick snow storm we then luxuriated in 7 glorious days of unseasonable super-warm weather - I'm talkin' 65º in the shade! Here's what we found this morning:. You'll have to click on pic to see it). We're heading to...

Between the Volcanoes: April 2012
http://thefivebakers.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 30, 2012. April showers bring May flowers. What do Mayflowers bring? You know how some things seem to stick with you and seem funny no matter how 'mature' you get or how many years go by? Well, that old joke still gets me grinning the same as when I was a little girl. 1963 - I'm the 2nd kiddo from left back row sitting on hearth. This April brought more than purty April (or May ;) blossoms. though there have been plenty of those and more to come! On the way up the stairs I noticed, and clim...

Monday, October 22, 2012. Fall has come.and almost gone :o. It's happened again. Summer just barely got its foot in the door and now she's done skipped out :/. Here's the Mulberry tree out back dropping its golden canopy:. This is the first of the season. A few weeks back Abby called me up and said that, as the calendar changed from the Summer into the Autumn months, she started to feel a bit anxious about Summer being over and Winter coming on. And then! She realized, "Heck, I live in Hawaii! Since toda...
