The occasional musings of patoot. 30 days of biking. April 1, 2013. There’s a Twin-Cities-based group that advocates biking and encourages people to bike every day in April. One can pledge on their website. I like! Today, Day #1. I rode to work and back (14 miles) and then rode to Whole Foods for fruit, toothpaste, and TP (5 miles). So glad it’s getting warm! The occasional musings of patoot. Day 2/horrible and Day 3/recovery. April 3, 2013. Worst bike ride of my life. Except for, well, you know. Had to end class early because I had a monstrous migraine. I felt completely out of sorts, disconnected from my body, very strange. Despite the calming effect of the cold, this was a serious thing and did not go away while I rode. I was miserable.
