Saturday, October 27, 2007. When they talk about the whole dream of home ownership, they usually leave out the part about never having another Saturday off for the rest of your life. Maybe the overwhelming success of Home Depot and shows like "This Old House" should have been a clue but somehow I missed all the warnings. Just when you think it's all over.it's only begun. Friday, February 1, 2008. Every year the NFL hands out their awards during Super Bowl week. The Fed Ex Ground player of the year? Not Adrian Peterson. Not even Ladainian Tomlinson. Fred Taylor. Goodness. Too bad Fred won't be around anymore when the Jaguars are playing in L.A. . Yeah, the game these two played in Week 17 was close. This one won't be. The Patriots have had two weeks to prepare and two weeks to heal. 38-17 New England. Bring on the draft!

Just when you think it's all over.it's only begun. Monday, October 27, 2008. It would appear that if John McCain wins every state where he is leading big, narrowly leading, tied, or within 8 points of Obama, he will barely win the Presidency, whereas if Obama holds his big lead states and manages to win one of the close states, he'll win - and he's ahead in most of the battleground states. I'm not ready to call the election yet - we haven't had a real October surprise, have we? On to the real polls.
