Wasn't there room for a different viewpoint, a difference of opinion? Yet any time I expressed just that, a difference, my gradepoint average took a noticeable dip. So I just finished watching a recent episode of "Wife Swap" (it's my weakness, forgive me), and there's a young-ish couple parenting two children who self-admittedly value appearances/looks above everything else. They even have their kids in beauty pagents - both of them. The youngest is 13 months old and "competing" since she was 3 months old. Ok, sick enough. Like his wife is to him? What are we doing to our country's daughters? But it's back - and with a vengeance. When?
