http://seaandskybirding.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Sea and Sky Birding. Picture: Drake's Island and Cornwall from Mount Batten Pier at dusk. Sunday, 30 August 2015. A mini [very] fall! Watching the garden birds in pouring rain this morning I was suddenly aware of a couple of Willow Warblers chasing each other around. Then a bird flitted out of the Silver Birch - Spotted Flycatcher - mega garden tick for me! Then - - - - [and I had help IDing this] a Yellow-fronted Canary [or Serin]! Distant record pics from indoors. Monday, 24 August 2015. 2 days of mise...

http://seaandskybirding.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sea and Sky Birding. Picture: Drake's Island and Cornwall from Mount Batten Pier at dusk. Tuesday, 28 April 2015. Had a wander around Staddon Heights this morning. Heard a Cuckoo, which is a patch tick, half a dozen calls. Several Chiffchaffs, Blackcaps [with nesting material], Willow Warbler, 2 Yellowhammers and a pair of Bullfinches - not much else except the Rooks from the local rookery and Jackdaws. Later, at Wembury Point 3 Whimbrel still on a windswept beach. Monday, 27 April 2015. The Whimbrels we...

Sea and Sky Birding: February 2015
http://seaandskybirding.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Sea and Sky Birding. Picture: Drake's Island and Cornwall from Mount Batten Pier at dusk. Friday, 27 February 2015. Ships, no birds. The Sound was empty yesterday save for a single Gannet, Shags and Cormorants. HNoMS Fridtjof Nansen F310, a Norwegian frigate, came in and the Dutch frigate F803 HNLMS Tromp. HMS Bulwark was on a buoy. HNoMS Fridtjof Nansen passes HMS Bulwark. Wednesday, 25 February 2015. Other than a Grey Wagtail and Kestrels, birdless. Seems so everywhere at the moment. Exciting as it got!

http://seaandskybirding.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sea and Sky Birding. Picture: Drake's Island and Cornwall from Mount Batten Pier at dusk. Monday, 30 March 2015. You know the pecking order, mate! USNS Medgar Evers off the Breakwater [dry cargo ship]. HMS Echo in the foreground. Sunday, 29 March 2015. Woodland, rain, no migrants. Miserable weather; grey skies, light rain and wind - not as the result of eating too much! Nothing on Bovey Tracey Heath - except dogs. A possible Goshawk over the A38 on the way home. Wednesday, 25 March 2015. Edit: expert vie...

http://seaandskybirding.blogspot.com/2015/08/garden-pics.html
Sea and Sky Birding. Picture: Drake's Island and Cornwall from Mount Batten Pier at dusk. Sunday, 9 August 2015. A beautiful day yesterday; today a sea-fret by mid-afternoon and back to miserable. The Fennel was alive with hover-flies and a grateful Willow Warbler took full advantage. Plenty of juveniles still including Bullfinches. Today Coal Tits. Walked out to Mount Batten pier. On the lake 2 Kingfishers, 3 Little Grebes and a calling Redshank - I fear Autumn is lurking! View my complete profile.

Sea and Sky Birding: October 2014
http://seaandskybirding.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Sea and Sky Birding. Picture: Drake's Island and Cornwall from Mount Batten Pier at dusk. Friday, 31 October 2014. Computer had to be stripped, marched out and told at "delete point" to behave. It wouldn't so Windows was removed, tossed on the heap of despair and its twin reinstalled. Luckily I had backed up almost everything but it does mean I have a huge number of pics to re-do as Lightroom was on the CDrive and I had been remiss in backing up the finished copies! I shall inflict the Ducks upon you!
