Pavonine Studios: August 2011
http://pavoninestudios.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 29, 2011. Here's what I did this afternoon/tonight:. First I felt like just a wee bit of blue was needed (it's really sort of a bluish green). Then I put on some iron paint to rust:. The patina solution is on there but the rust hasn't developed yet.hopefully in the am it will have developed. Tomorrow am depending on how the rust looks, I will either add more iron or I will begin to knock back the rust a bit with some white/off white. We shall see. G'night all! Sunday, August 28, 2011.

Pavonine Studios: September 2011
http://pavoninestudios.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 05, 2011. Try as I might, I can't seem to get a picture of this that satisfies me. However, I am still going to show it to you because I am excited that it is done! 36"H x 24" W. I have painted the edges, sprayed on its final protective finish.so yeah, finished! As this is just for fun, and something I would take more care with next time, in that all the shots are different angles and such.but for this time around it will have to do. How my painting progressed:. Other Blogs I Follow.

Pavonine Studios: March 2014
http://pavoninestudios.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 26, 2014. I took a little break from making gelli prints. I had pieced together some lattice quilt squares sometime around Christmas, but didn't have the time to put them together until now. These are 5" squares. The final project will be something for my mom's table or perhaps the top of her trunk/coffee table. Haven't decided how to quilt it yet but maybe just something simple, as my free motion skills are minimal and slightly rusty. Rusty Gelli Prints and other projects in the works.

Pavonine Studios: April 2014
http://pavoninestudios.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 03, 2014. Anda new quilting project. Ahit's been a few days! I am determined not to let my blog fall by the wayside.again. I have been getting a few things done though, so that's feeling pretty good. After a few posts and comments on facebook, I suppose I have to accept that it's possible that the personal blog is dead. Sigh. I hope that's not true but I fear it might be. I go to all kinds of blogs when I am searching for information - I love some them! I had never pieced anything much, a...

Pavonine Studios: July 2009
http://pavoninestudios.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 19, 2009. Well, ok - I am clearly not good at writing in my blog. I seem to recall having this issue when I tried to keep a journal too. Write for while and then completely forget about it.sigh. Maybe someday I will get my act together. I didn't think I was going to get anything new done for the show. I don't find hanging older pieces, just always like to have something new as well. So here's a pic I took just before the show of the pieces I finished. I am definitely NOT a photographer.

Thursday, October 30, 2014. Progress on Mom's Quilt. I have some good news! Remember the quilting project my mom and I started back at the beginning of April? Wellwe are reaching a critical point in the process. She is currently working on the last block that we NEED to do in order to make this quilt. I have some others that are made just in case we don't like a particular block for some reason.color or whatever. We will still need to choose some border fabrics and attach the borders. Pavonine Studios: June 2014
http://pavoninestudios.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 28, 2014. Gifts for my SIL and an update on my free motion progress. So much for my well intentioned plans of not letting my blog slide too much. I did want to share a bit of what I have been working on though! First, my SIL Rebecca had her birthday recently and my mom and I made her a few things. I made her these bowls - the pattern is in a book called First Steps to Free Motion Quilting. I also made her a set of pincushions, because, you know, a girl can never have too many:.
