Has an annual fundraiser to bring in money for innovative teacher grants. The idea is to put a themed basket together with a teddy as a centerpiece. In previous years, I arranged a Bakersfield Jam. And generous writers from The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Mall finding various items for my basket.

My artist, Kathi Briefer-Gose's friends mailed more branches from San Diego, CA and Texas, but we still have gaps to fill. Still, with the twinkly lights now on, and much of the leaves added, it is truly magical to sit in my room with the overhead florescent lights out, reveling in the delightful ambience. :-).
