ASVO Sea Turtle Rescue Project. Montezuma, Costa Rica). This project is strictly a conservation project with minimal contact with the animals. After the eggs are layed we dig them up and redeposit them in a safe location away from humans and natural predators. We perform nightly patrols protecting the eggs within their fenced-off enclosure and when a nest does hatch it is categorized and the data taken is noted. We then release the baby sea turtles and make sure they reach the sea safely.
