Dan Atkins: TdB and a Broken Hand
http://dannyatkins.blogspot.com/2013/07/tdb-and-broken-hand.html
Monday, July 22, 2013. TdB and a Broken Hand. Le Tour, The Only Race That Matters. The Tour de Burg. The second timed section was up Hankey then over to all the sick new trail on Lookout. This would have no Super D, so I wasn't real concerned with how things went. I just tried to not hemorrhage time on the climb and ride smooth on the ridge, although I did go over the bars on the last rock move. Oops. July 22, 2013 at 6:02 PM. That sucks man. Take it easy Dan. Dan Atkins: Mohican 100
http://dannyatkins.blogspot.com/2013/06/mohican-100.html
Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Better late than never. The Mohican 100 is one of my favorite NUE events. The singletrack is super fun, the course is pretty interesting and it's not too far away. I've done this race for the past few years including the Mud-hican of 2010. Previously I have always raced with gears here, but this year I decided to ride my singlespeed for a change and it would provide a built in excuse if I went extra slow. Friday morning I met up with Pat Blair. June 13, 2013 at 5:48 AM. Gravel, Ro...

Cohutta 100: UnRace Report – Greg Rittler
http://gregrittler.com/2013/04/30/cohutta-100-unrace-report
Cohutta 100: UnRace Report. Cohutta 100: UnRace Report. Posted on 30 Apr 2013. Here’s a synopsis of the race report I wanted to write about the 2013 Cohutta 100:. I had an awesome time at the Cohutta 100. It was brutal but I endured and finished in xx:xx time [insert a time under 10 hours]. The conditions were terrible and it was the hardest day of my life but I finished my first National Ultra Endurance series race. I can’t wait for the Wildcat Epic in 2 weeks! Ouch That definitely was not the plan.

Schrecking: Archery
http://schrecking.blogspot.com/2012/07/archery.html
Thursday, July 19, 2012. So I've been doing archery with an interest group from church. I started out with some of the beginner bows but wasn't satisfied with the inability to actually shoot accurately with those bows.not to mention that they're sited for other people. I've learned some things that I'll share in future posts but one thing I'll say to anyone thinking about archery is - make sure you get a bow that fits your draw length! Not bad for a newbie. That's all for now! Next time, beer! Training: ...

Recess didn't end in elementary school: May 2013
http://lancefun.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Recess didn't end in elementary school. The play times of Lance Byrd. Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Ever since the beat-down I suffered last year (2012) at the Maximus Michaux 20 miler and Shenandoah 100. I made it my goal in 2013 to improve my mountain bike skills and endurance. I love tough/epic courses even though they aren't my strength. For nutrition I continue to go with Cerasport. For hydration and Probar. Nutrition. I carry my spare tube, levers, and pump with my Backcountry Research - Awesome Strap.

Recess didn't end in elementary school. The play times of Lance Byrd. Thursday, January 31, 2013. Don't play with floods. This morning started great, rise with the family, horse around. Get on the bike to go to work. Well it rained a lot last night. I admired the raging Potapsco as I crossed the bridge from BaltCo. to HoCo (avalon). River road had some shallow standing water. I started pedaling through it and it got deeper and deeper. Fortunately I had overdressed so the rest of me was hot. 160; Enduranc...

I didn't enjoy this race immensely but it was fun. I think I finished 15th. But I'm loving this race. I'm riding hard b...
