Over FreeFest weekend there will be an arts and crafts exhibitionwith work by both amateur and professional local artists on display, including a selection of artists new to FreeFest. Welcome to Hampstead Norreys Karate Club. For children aged 7 - 15. 645 pm to 8.00 pm. Hampstead Norreys Village Hall. 4 per child per lesson. This is a Mixed Martial Arts Training class, suitable for all abilities with influences from JU JITSU, AIKIDO and KICK BOXING. Welcome to Hampstead Norreys FreeFest. A couple of years ago, we had the good fortune to visit. The Edinburgh Festival Free Fringe. And were inspired by the idea that those with an artistic talent share their talents, for free, with others. Our aim is to inspire, entertain and develop our sense of community. We held our first FreeFest in 2013 which was very successful and it is now a bi-annual event held every other year on the last weekend of May. Review of FreeFest 2015.

Hampstead Norreys Environment Group. In conjunction with Newbury District Council, who provided a shredder (with operator) and collection vehicle, villagers were able to leave their Christmas trees outside their homes: helpers collected these and transported them to the Village Hall car park for shredding. WBC and Veola have since introduced a Xmas Tree collection system throughout WBC. Litter Picking April 2009. An organised litter pick took place around the roads and footpaths in the village.

Hampstead Norreys Parish Partnership (HNPP) is an independent organisation that was set up by volunteers in May 2014 as the successor of the Parish Plan. The HNPP was officially launched at the Community Fayre held on 5th July 2014. Involvement in the Parish Partnership is open to three groups:. Meet new people, support and make a difference in your local community, help other people, keep healthy (volunteering is known to increase self-confidence, combat depression and help you stay physically healthy).

We meet every other Tuesday in the Village Hall. We start at 12.45pm with a Lunch consisting of various sandwiches, quiche, sausage roll pasties etc plus home made cakes and tea. This is followed by either a talk, quiz, bingo or competition etc. We have five outings a. Year, May, June, July, September and October. W e have two bring and buy sales each year to help raise funds towards a free Christmas Lunch from all members. We hold a small raffle at each meeting to help with club funds.
