Jael's Art Jewels Blog: Week 2 of 2015 Polymer Clay Challenge
http://jaelsjewels.blogspot.com/2015/01/week-2-of-2015-polymer-clay-challenge.html
Friday, January 16, 2015. Week 2 of 2015 Polymer Clay Challenge. Yes, I know - I did not post a week one! I'm hoping to catch up and post an extra piece to make up for that lost week. This piece is an extension of my doodling creations. I used a vase that I found in my stash that had an interesting shape and went to town. I photographed it from different sides - this is all one vase. I love it, and it may have a buyer. Labels: 2015 polymer clay challenge. January 17, 2015 at 12:59 AM. C A Therien's site.

Jael's Art Jewels Blog: In the beginning....
http://jaelsjewels.blogspot.com/2007/03/in-beginning.html
Wednesday, March 7, 2007. There was polymer clay. Well, not really. I started out loving fiber (yarn, fabric. I have an extensive collection of both! Sewing, needlework. In college I fell in love with weaving, and my fiancé (now husband) bought me a table loom as a gift. I became a Girl Scout leader for my daughter's troop, and one of our activities included a trip to the local bead store and the creation of some jewelry. Ohhhh, beads! I could actually make and modify my own jewelry! I had to know. My fi...

Lynn Lunger: Tutorial -Making my 'ugly' molds for my Rustic Nature Polymer Clay Pendants
http://lynnlunger.blogspot.com/2012/03/tutorial-making-my-ugly-molds-for-my.html
Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Tutorial -Making my 'ugly' molds for my Rustic Nature Polymer Clay Pendants. Meanwhile, here is my mold-making/pendant making system. Ugly, but sturdy. In the prototype stage you will need polymer clay - I use up old early Sculpey stock for my originals. Early Sculpey is really not strong enough for serious jewelry work, but is great for making prototypes. A clay rolling tool - I use a section of an old metal arrow shaft. Xacto, or other sharp pointed blade. Now that you are re...

Drawing the Line: Meanwhile, in Kaitlin's world...

Art, like morality, consists of drawing the line somewhere." G. K. Chesterton. From the creator of Anorel Arts. Friday, July 29, 2011. Meanwhile, in Kaitlin's world. Hello, faithful blog followers. I apologize for abandoning you and forcing you to languish in the agony that your lives must be without me, but I've been too busy spitting out random pieces of jewelry like some deranged jewelry dragon. Raaawr. Give it my hair, because everything looks better with long, black hair. August 2, 2011 at 11:25 PM.

Drawing the Line: November 2011

Art, like morality, consists of drawing the line somewhere." G. K. Chesterton. From the creator of Anorel Arts. Wednesday, November 23, 2011. I think I have to pause my depressing rambling for a moment to say that I'm not writing this to get your pity or have you all shower me in compliments to make me feel better about myself. That would make me even more pathetic than I already am, and it probably wouldn't be very helpful anyway. So yeah. No pity-induced fawning, ok? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
