Peace Corps in Burkina Faso. Stories and Photos from Burkina Faso as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Everybody Loves Free Pencils. Quotes to live by,. Give a village child a pencil and he might beat it on the ground like a drum or stick it in his ear. Give a village child a pencil along with an education and he will write and learn, and maybe one day become president and help Burkina. Or maybe it was about fish and fishing… Anyway. Steph in Burkina Faso. Peace Corps 2005-2007, Peace Corps Response 2010. Sunday, March 14, 2010. It's been a while since I posted a blog, but I don't really feel like I have all that much to report. HOWEVER, 2 great things did happen on March 13th:. 1 It was my official 2-month mark (1/3 of the way through already! 2 I found out that I was accepted to Columbia University to pursue my Masters Degree! Oh - one fun thing I get to do this week is Skype with my friend's classroom in Chicago! Or send me stuff:.

Steph in Burkina Faso. Peace Corps 2005-2007, Peace Corps Response 2010. Sunday, June 10, 2007. Well I've finished. I have checked out of village, said my goodbyes, and by next Friday I will no longer be an official Peace Corps Volunteer. How do I feel? All mixed emotions, as you may imagine. Obviously I'm thrilled that I'll be rejoining my family and friends and old life again. but the departure from village was way sadder than I was imagining it would be. Let me backtrack . See you very, very soon!

Chrissy in Burkina Faso: Uganda: Beyond Kony 2012
http://chrissyinburkina.blogspot.com/2012/05/uganda-beyond-kony-2012.html
Chrissy in Burkina Faso. A Peace Corps Experience. Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Uganda: Beyond Kony 2012. Beyond Kony 2012: Atrocity, Awareness, and Activism in the Internet Age". While the focus of my research in northern Uganda has nothing to do with Invisible Children's Kony 2012 campaign, it was, I admit, one of the precipitants for choosing the research question I did. Steph in Burkina Faso: sooooo Burkina
http://stephinbf.blogspot.com/2010/02/sooooo-burkina.html
Steph in Burkina Faso. Peace Corps 2005-2007, Peace Corps Response 2010. Friday, February 12, 2010. What I love most about this country, hands down, is the people.
