Tuesday, January 19, 2010. J-term is so.boring. or is it relaxing? Overall, i've been sleeping and avoiding responsibility a lot lately. And i've been listening to this song over and over:. My friend and i painstakingly made seven little cards and wrote things to do on them (like : go buy a mango slushie while listening to vampire weekend), and hid them in library books and stuck notes on desks on where to find them. nobody did it. Sunday, February 7, 2010. There is just so much. I: went sledding in a canoe at midnight. Watched a guy successfully walk down the icy street on crutches. Wore the same outfit for 3 days. Found out david bazan and headlights are playing at messiah in march! Had ice cream three times. Love the canoe bit best of all! Saturday, September 5, 2009. I'm writing this because i'm avoiding writing about self-awareness for my communication class,which is actually really interesting, buuut it's saturday. (it comes out july 13th, but if you pre-order. It, it should find its way to your doorstep in a real jiffy, like mine did.). Thursday, September 10, 2009. Last night for b-sides (which is the best thing. ever, by the way) mucca pazza came. they are a craazzzzzy fun marching band from chicago that came and stormed all over the building, i mean they were EVERYWHERE. it was so fun. and they were so crayzay! July- that's a pretty word to look at and write and say. Maybe that prettiness comes from the shapes of the letters- from the low, gentle curve of j, from the smooth inverted arch of u, from the slim confidence of l, from the harsh angle in y softened by that elegant tail. july: a cat lounging on a windowsill. Or maybe it comes from the sound of the word when spoken. it reminds me of eating a perfect grape- not the grape-eating sound, just the feeling- and not the physical feeling, just the feeling.
