The long distance friendship. A long distance relationship is hard. You don't get to see each other as often as you'd like, most of your communication is virtual and none of their recent photos or stories on Facebook involve you. I get it. I totally do. With travelling and working abroad becoming increasingly common, long distance friendships are an issue a lot of us face at some point. Try it, you might like it! So it’s happened, I am no longer kool (that k is supposed to be there, keep reading). It really started a few years ago on a camping trip, when my then 11 year old step daughter pointed to a group of people and refered to them as The Adults , and I was standing in that group. I choose to believe it was just a coincidence that I just happened to be standing near a bunch of Adults even though those Adults weren’t that much older than me. Look at me texting like a 14 year old.
