Anderson family update: August 2011
http://andersonfamilyupdate.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 13, 2011. It's been a while. It's been a while since I put up a post. Sorry. Since my last post, I graduated, gave my graduation speech (which was absolutely terrifying), and have been working so much some people have started accusing me of being a workaholic. I respectfully disagree. I'm just trying to tread water. I took off this coming Monday. I need a mental health day. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Friday, October 1, 2010. October 3, 2010 at 6:57 PM. My Mom shared this quote with me the other day and I thought it would comfort you. Those we love dont go away. They walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed, and very dear. I hope this is a quote that will ease your pain. Take care, Robin. October 3, 2010 at 7:29 PM. Know that you are thought of from afar. Love you, brother! October 4, 2010 at 2:07 AM. Your AEX brother in Christ,. October 4, 2010 at 9:56 AM.

Anderson family update: April 2010
http://andersonfamilyupdate.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 26, 2010. I took my last Decadron today. The children thought it was a little strange that I was talking to my pill this morning, saying "I hope I never have to put you in my body again! This is my week off from chemo and we are preparing for our community yard sale this weekend. We have been gradually going through the house, collecting items and have quite a bit to sell. The boys are also cleaning out toys that they want to sell for some cash. Praying for good weather! A break is coming.

Saturday, August 28, 2010. Please no visitors on Saturday, 28-August. Given the amount of effort Barb exerted yesterday, we are requesting no visitors outside of family today. I'm sorry for being harsh, but she really needs to rest. Thanks for your understanding. Barb hospital update - Saturday, 28-Aug. Barb is still in the hospital on a ventilator. Fortunately, she's still alert enough to tell us all what to do. :) -Dave. Monday, August 23, 2010. Not the change of scenery I was looking for. You can chec...

Anderson family update: May 2010
http://andersonfamilyupdate.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 15, 2010. Good and Bad News. I had a Brain MRI yesterday. I had a lot of trouble getting through the MRI - breathing problems from lying flat (and maybe some anxiety). I did finally finish it. The 4 tumors that were hit with the cyberknife. Have shrunk and should continue to do that but a new one popped up. It is small but wasn't present on the 3/15/10 MRI. The plan is to watch it and see if more pop up before another cyberknife. I pointed out that they would be with Pop and Gam. My prayer ...

Anderson family update: March 2010
http://andersonfamilyupdate.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 24, 2010. When Dave and I went to celebrate his birthday over the weekend, this was one of the salad selections. Monday, March 22, 2010. Whew - what a day! Okay - we met with the brain specialist and he said I am a prime candidate for Cyberknife. That the tumors will not completely disappear but will shrink, become stable and not grow for 1-2 years. I finished my whole brain radiation last year on 4/9/09 so that radiation worked for a year. This radiation. I do make a good margarita.

Latte Right Boys: December 2009
http://latterightboys.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Full of Energy, Living for Him. Thursday, December 3, 2009. Day 3 of 25 Days of Christmas. The last few days I've been realizing just how much of our focus has turned away from the real reason of Christmas. I listed out the following letters and this is what I came up with. As you head into this weekend, stop and think why you are going out shopping for all those gifts. Is it because its on sale? Is it because you have to? Thursday, December 03, 2009.
