PEGS: Police of Essex Golf Society. PEGS has been running since the 1960's but unfortunately the exact date is not known, but believed to be 1966 which is the year our longest trophy, the Force Champs was presented. Our longest serving member, Steve Bardwell, who sadly retired from us this year joined in 1970 so even he cant help us. The societies main ruling is that a member has to be a paying member of the Essex Police Sports Association to be able to join. 2002 Nigel Ginn (P.E.G.S).
