Saturday, April 26, 2014. New Runner's Cuff Pattern to benefit American Cancer Society. A needle knit pattern. This pattern is designed for a distance runner. Being a marathoner myself, I can never seem to get enough pockets to carry everything. This cuff will carry two GU packets within easy reach and without any pockets or zippers to deal with. Just grab and (keep) going! ALL proceeds from this pattern will go towards my fund raising efforts - minus the little bit Paypal takes out. Links to this post.

It's my first ever recycled yarn project (made from an unraveled Goodwill sweater). I love the result and it'll be a great layering piece for work when Spring rolls around. Stats on this sweater:. Friday, July 14, 2006. Finally some picts of the finished Waves of Lace Shawl. I took these picts myself so they aren't the best - but I think you can see it OK :). Scroll and check them out! I've been attempting to put one together for a friend of mine that just had a baby and I just haven't been able to get it right! My thoughts were for her to use it as a lightweight cover up when/if she nurses in public, then as a beach coverup later. I know she'll love it! Deb B in VA. Oh what a great gift idea!

Saturday, August 09, 2008. First, thanks to everybody who checks my blog frequently. And apologies that I am one of those bloggers who rarely updates. Whenever I get the Sitemeter report I am surprised that so many of you continue to check on me. Since I had a pattern stitch I liked and was not sure how to keep adjusting it for the increase/decrease, I chose to just knit back and forth and have been surprised at the shaping; perhaps when it is done and blocked it will be straight.
