Our club has its roots going back to the 1970s with local residents wishing to have an airport. Land was cleared and with the help of private members' funding and time, a gravel strip was created. Over the years, the airport and the club have evolved. The Pemberton Flying Club's mission is:. To foster safe and responsible flying activities. To promote the establishment of a facility for safe conduct of general aviation. To facilitate the construction of a general aviation hangar at Pemberton Airport.
