As usual it took far longer with the family of five than one might expect but finally, late morning after much faffing about we were ready to depart. I'd inadvertently left the outside porch light on all night and there were a few moths there the next morning including this Hebrew Character and this Red Chestnut. Monday 9th April: Pendeen and Mousehole. Pendeen Raven on it's usual post. The confiding Willow Warbler.

Monday, 10 August 2015. Friday 7th Back Home. As I mentioned yesterday, I'd put out the moth trap last night. This morning there were rather modest numbers within the trap with nothing of particularly note apart from a couple of migrants (a Dark Sword Grass and a Rusty Dot Pearl) and a Poplar Hawk Moth that our younger daughter wanted to have on her hand as usual. Monday, 23 March 2015. Sunday 22nd March: Pendeen. The eclipse, singing finches, cronking Ravens, early spring plants and some new moths.
