A Learning Experience: Commencement Day
http://rachelbeazley.blogspot.com/2015/05/commencement-day.html
Saturday, May 16, 2015. There is something nice about being the first one out of bed in the morning. I've been getting ready for the day at a nice, leisurely pace, all while enjoying some of my favorite tunes. I've been bopping around from playlist to playlist, and I thought I would share them. These are all thanks to Spotify! Rise and Shine Playlist. Who Run the World? Have a Great Day! I will be taking a lot of pictures today, and I'll be sure to share once I get the chance! I see IEDP @ Penn GSE: Quirks and strange library encounters
http://rachel2014iedp.blogspot.com/2014/12/quirks-and-strange-library-encounters.html
I see IEDP @ Penn GSE. Experiences of a Master's student in Penn GSE's International Educational Development Program. Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Quirks and strange library encounters. WHAT is this doing in the women's restroom? The first time I saw it, I wanted to pull it, of course. However, after many furtive observations, I realized that it is not even hooked in anymore. Then why is it still there? To remind us of potential attacks while in the restroom? Eating Rules: Everyone eats in the library, ...

A Learning Experience: January 2015
http://rachelbeazley.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 30, 2015. Several months ago, I popped into the Penn Bookstore at 36th and Walnut to buy a notebook. I really like Moleskine notebooks for some reason, and the bookstore has a wide variety. I remember being in a rush, so I grabbed a pack of three notebooks and headed out. When I got home, I realized that the notebooks I bought were missing something very important…lines! This topic spoke to me much more than architecture. I couldn't wait to make my idea web for it. Check it out:. I am a p...

Lunch with Shirin Lutfeali, Technical Proposals, and One Week Til Break! Every week seems to speed by at this point. However, the stress is getting a bit much for most of us, even though IEDPers know how to keep their cool. But, spring break is just around the corner. Don't be fooled though- -it is not a break. But, the highlights of this week:. A senior special...

Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Taking You Higher!: October 2014
http://takingyouhigher.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
A year in the life of a Higher Education student at Penn GSE. Tuesday, October 14, 2014. It's been a long time coming! I have been meaning to post this blog post since my first week here at GSE in August. That just goes to show that my time here at GSE has been so wonderfully busy! I would like to dedicate my first blog post to give some helpful tips for students moving to Philadelphia from a different state:. Start packing weeks in advanced. You don't need to pack EVERYTHING. I found myself going to the...

A Learning Experience: Graduation Musings
http://rachelbeazley.blogspot.com/2015/05/graduation-musings.html
Sunday, May 10, 2015. Graduation is so close I can almost taste the overheating and exhaustion. Kidding (sort of). I'm really looking forward to graduation, but there are a lot of annoying things that come along with it. For example, are my family members going to find parking? Will I be extremely hot if I wear this dress under my robes? Sandals are comfortable, but will they look nice enough? Are we going to make it to the restaurant in time for our reservation? That phase turned out to be Philly! I am ...
