I always have a good time when I work in a place like this – I am able to help people, meet people, and fulfill my occasional need to organize. Most of the other volunteers were retired women; I was certainly the youngest there. Of course, it helps that I am usually one of the tallest, too – there are tall towers of cans to reach.
