Happiness starts in the gut. November 3, 2016. Peppermint & honey. Today starts the final week of having to eat gluten, I have been eating gluten every day for the last 5 weeks to achieve an accurate test result for Celiacs disease. You may remember from previous blogs that I had stopped eating wheat about 5 years ago following some tests but not gluten, so I continued to eat rye and barley but in the main rye crackers and breads. Bursts of colour & Energy. September 6, 2016. Peppermint & honey. I am watching the children play in the garden, wishing I had just half of their energy. Where do they get it from, is it an age thing as we all eat the same food! I have mentioned before that I am getting a lot more sleep these days and I’m still taking my iron supplement, I’ve got 1 more month on those before I get my bloods tested again, although on days like this I wonder if they are a placebo! January 4, 2017. Peppermint & honey. I didn’t as sleep as well as I thought I would last night but I am sure it will settle after a few days. My body had a lot of alcohol during December so I shouldn’t expect instant rewards. My partner is doing a dry January again which really helps me as there is no alcohol in the house and I feel supported, which is really important isn’t it. Just about to hit the mat, I’m feeling good and hope the rest of the day is just like this. 100 days of yoga. On A good start.

Four Stars and a Frame. My search for serenity…. Day Ten – Not Missin’ the Drama. I had a (mostly) lovely weekend filled with (mostly) fantastic things! I took the FourBoys to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid – The Musical at the Children’s Theater. The tickets were a gift from a friend that works there so the seats were not all together, which worked fantastic! Two boys were at one end of the row and two boys were at the other end and I got to sit in the Sound Box so I could keep an eye on them the whole time 🙂.

Four Stars and a Frame. My search for serenity…. I can’t live like this any more. I am so sad and tired. I just want to hide all day and sleep. I turned on the fan and left to go bring my son to the store to buy some chips for his choir party. When I came home an hour later it still smelled like smoke and the mess was still there.
