A diary of the Parliament pair and other London Peregrines. Please do not copy any photos without permission( click on photos to enlarge). Wednesday, 30 July 2014. On the off chance I popped in after visiting Battersea Power Station to see if I could catch up with the pair and the juveniles, a previous visit having proved bird less. I can usually find them; admittedly I have not been covering it as much this year but they are very site faithful once they have come over from their nest site. After a look ...

A diary of the Parliament pair and other London Peregrines. Please do not copy any photos without permission( click on photos to enlarge). Saturday, 28 June 2014. During the week I watched a site, the pair have had another successful year and have fledged 4 juveniles as per 2013. During the course of the morning the adult Falcon was intercepted quite away out with prey, as you know with juveniles, it is first come, first serve for a food pass. Parliament Peregrines Diary: October 2014

A diary of the Parliament pair and other London Peregrines. Please do not copy any photos without permission( click on photos to enlarge). Friday, 17 October 2014. Nest Sites seem to fall into 2 categories, pairs that are able to breed on a structure/building (core sites) and are territorial all year round, and those that have to move to an alternative nest site as the core site does not offer nesting opportunities. By mid February they leave Victoria Tower, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben and head off to ...

All true. All the time. You're reading . . . . A mystery is solved. November 15, 2011 ⋅. Falcon photo courtesy of Stewart Thompson. I spoke with a friend the other day; we haven’t seen each other since Los Angeles. She’s moved to St Louis, so we talked about her new city (a great one, imo) and reminisced about the one we’d loved and left behind. They weren’t enjoying it either. On that day, all leashes hang slack. But lucky, lucky me. A pair of photographs reached me. And a mystery is solved. Brisk commu...

A diary of the Parliament pair and other London Peregrines. Please do not copy any photos without permission( click on photos to enlarge). Monday, 24 February 2014. True to form February has been a little hectic, last minute issues resulting from the February 1st licence period has resulted in quite a few e-mails back and forth, a few visits, but for the most part all is now resolved and off we go again. These have now gone over to their nest site a mile or 2 away, I had hoped to keep them near Parliamen...
