Trench Storm Now Available. Wednesday, 12 August 2015 10:29. Over the top and to the green fields beyond! Trench Storm returns after more than 10 years in a new second edition. Providing rules for the first world war (and well suitable for Russian civil war as well), Trench Storm is quick to play, using straight forward game mechanics. Units are platoons (or their equivalent) with each infantry base representing a squad of soldiers. A typical game may stretch from a company to a battalion or so. This ent...

Dispatches from the front: Honestly, its not all 6mm!(4)
http://ablogofwar.blogspot.com/2016/12/honestly-its-not-all-6mm4.html
Dispatches from the front. Friday, 23 December 2016. Honestly, its not all 6mm! As I have mentioned previously most of the 28/32mm stuff I paint these days is purely as ornaments for my mum. She recently asked me to put the miniatures I have already painted, onto a diorama-style base (to save her moving each individual figure when dusting! I am reasonably happy with the results, a basic theme has been attained and most importantly my mum's dusting has been made a little easier! LORDS and LANDS - MAIN PAGE.

Dispatches from the front. Saturday, 24 December 2016. Prohibition Era - 15mm Project - (III). In the nick of time I have managed to get three "gangs" painted up, acquired and painted (well one of them at least) 3 vehicles and made a start on some buildings and scenery. This is probably the most prepared I have ever been for a game in which I don't yet have the rules, but at least I can have a couple of play test games over the Christmas break. Keith's Wargaming Blog: October 2016
http://keithswargames.blogspot.com/2016_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 25, 2016. Just finished painting a 6mm dragon from Perfect Six Miniatures. It comes from their Order of the Dragon fantasy range and should have been the Black Dragon Ashmar. But I chose to paint it red. He, or perhaps she, (I'm unsure how to tell the sex of a dragon) works just as well in a dungeon crawl as a 28mm baby dragon. The party looking surprised at meeting a "28mm" baby dragon. Are baby red dragons very hungry? Friday, October 21, 2016. Wings Of War: Multi-player Dawn Patrol.
