Old-Fashioned Charm: February 2015
http://old-fashionedcharm.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 21, 2015. Newsflash: Love and Friendship. Attention all my Janeite friends! Another Jane Austen adaptation is in production! Is finally getting adapted for the big screen! I'm rather excited because I really enjoy this story written in letters, but a bit worried that they could take a bad spin on it and leave out the satire and wit that is Jane Austen's genius. I'm not familiar with the script writer or other production crew, but I know they are filming in Ireland now! And is no strang...

Old-Fashioned Charm: Death Comes To Pemberley (2013 Miniseries)
http://old-fashionedcharm.blogspot.com/2014/01/death-comes-to-pemberley-2013-miniseries.html
Sunday, January 19, 2014. Death Comes To Pemberley (2013 Miniseries). This new murder mystery sequel to Pride and Prejudice. Aired December 26-28, 2013 on BBC in three episodes. I received the book by P.D. James for Christmas and had hoped to read it first, but the opportunity to view this miniseries proved too tempting to resist! While there is a murder theme and a part of the plot includes and adulterous theme, there is only one scene that is a bit inappropriate. If you decide to watch it on YouTube.

Saturday, January 31, 2015. Trailers for Belle (2013). Looked very interesting when I first saw them so I bought a DVD copy hoping it would be good but I actually didn't open the DVD for a couple months. I ended up watching Belle with my family over my Christmas break. A friend of mine actually mentioned he had watched it and that he thought I would really like it and he was right, we all enjoyed it. Belle (2013). Then you will probably enjoy this film! Also the London house is lovely. As Lady Mary Murray.
