Monday, 6 February 2012. Upside down house in Tamparuli. Kg Telibong, between Shell gas station and SMK Tamparuli). Since 1st February 2012. 800am - 8.00pm daily. Adults - RM10 (MyKad holders),. Babies - FOC (2 yrs old and below). The 'tamu' (their term for the souvenir shop) is somewhat loosely stuffed with not many souvenirs to choose from. It would be a good idea for them to sell Sabah's unique handicrafts and other local products in the future. The cafe is quite roomy and comfortable with delicious s...

JD.floyd pictures: Enjoying sunset at Tanjung Aru First Beach, Kota Kinabalu
http://jdfloydpictures.blogspot.com/2014/04/enjoying-sunset-at-tanjung-aru-first.html
Monday, 21 April 2014. Enjoying sunset at Tanjung Aru First Beach, Kota Kinabalu. Beach is always swarmed by revelers on weekends. If you enjoy the company of the crowd then come on Saturdays or Sundays. Otherwise go on weekdays and you will have the beach all to yourself. No I was kidding! Beach is crowded almost everyday from 5.00pm onwards. The atmosphere is great and everyone minds their own business in a nice way. The following was shot recently during a weekend. Or just sit back and watch them.

Thursday, 27 June 2013. Harvest Festival and Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan Penampang 2013. It's nearly the end of June now but I guess the Harvest Festival celebration is not yet over. Some districts in Sabah are just preparing to hold such festivals at their level - village, district, etc. Here is a revisit of the one for Penampang District, back in May 2013, mainly focused on the final day where Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan pageant was held. Do by the VIP. Winners of the Penampang District Sugandoi 2013. Photography ...

A Muse Man: December 2009
http://perrylim.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 12, 2009. Music of the night. It's been like one month ten days since my last post, and I can already see the cobwebs around this page. I suppose that's the thing when the current year is coming to a close, and we teachers are off on the long year-end break. We slow down.really slow down. We stretch out our legs, cup our hands behind our heads, shake off whatever else that is niggling us, and. 2 The truck growls: Soon after the first few dogs start barking, then you'll hear the garbage...

A Muse Man: January 2010
http://perrylim.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 28, 2010. What you want, when you want it. This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Charter. All opinions are 100% mine. How would you describe your habit when it comes to watching TV? Would you say that you are:. A the couch potato: you breathe, eat and sleep TV! B the seat warmer: you spend a few hours on the TV, but life still excites you more. C the hit-and-runner: you only watch a specific show and then turn the TV off. Posted by Perry R. Lim. A Muse Man: The Hong Kong Children's Choir
http://perrylim.blogspot.com/2010/07/hong-kong-childrens-choir-part-1.html
Sunday, July 25, 2010. The Hong Kong Children's Choir. Last night, the Hong Kong Children's Choir performed at Star City Exhibition Hall. I'll be writing my experience of attending this show in two parts because I feel that I wouldn't be doing justice to the spectacular performance presented by them.). It's a wonder they didn't bump into each other and fell onstage! Here are some of the photos I took during the performance. The host for the evening, a Rotarian. The choir's opening act. They dance as well!

A Muse Man: July 2009
http://perrylim.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 30, 2009. I think of the most fundamental electrical appliances that people in just about any household is that one that possesses the ability to provide you with endless hours of entertainment: the television. Sure, with all broadcasting stations slowly moving towards digital transmission nowadays, I guess more televisions will be sold to be on par with the technology. But, what's a television without a good and reliable service provider, right? Of Direct Satellite TV. But, the best thing...

A Muse Man: February 2010
http://perrylim.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 25, 2010. Grilles, deadbolts, padlocks and alarms. House designs aside, the other difference you're bound to notice is the security features that any typical house has nowadays. Grilles, deadbolts, and padlocks have become the norm rather than the exception nowadays. Twenty five years ago, you'd be hard put to spot a house with any of them. You just had bare windows and doors. While I'm not a subscriber of any of their products, I've noticed more than a few houses sporting the ADT.

A Muse Man: The Fourteenth Letter
http://perrylim.blogspot.com/2010/07/fourteenth-letter.html
Sunday, July 18, 2010. So, without saying them out loud (and without using your fingers to count), tell me what's the fourteenth letter of the alphabet? Just right off the bat, what is it? It's the letter N. Now, why am I thinking about this particular letter? Well, it's the start to a word that perfectly describes this blog's situation right now: N. So I'm just wondering - wondering if this whole feeling of wanting to blog will actually finally leave me. I'll leave that to time to provide the answer.
