Monday, 6 July 2015. Mount Montusi and San Rock Art. We just had one more day in the Drakensberg. unfortunately! And decided to take a hike to the peak of Mount Montusi. We walked through grassy meadows. Still damp with the early morning dew. On the way up, we made a slight detour behind a waterfall, to a cave with fascinating, ancient rock art from the San people (Bushmen). We had time to admire the flora. And fauna - can you spot the buck? And time for some bird watching on the way down. Born and raise...

The truth is that it's been one heck of a busy year in our household! In ten months we doubled the number of kids we have, from two to four. Last December we arrived home with our newly adopted 8 year old daughter. Then just a few weeks later, we found out we were expecting a baby - major surprise! November 10, 2013 at 3:23 AM.

Add to this the encroaching rationing of daily items, the limits of freedom, work forced upon the individual, and what in fact was a dictatorial state until the war was won, all these things add up after a few years. Now I am wondering what to do with this. Should I make it into an item and write it up? Does the boss wish me to leave it with her? I do not know, neither does she!
