Pete and Kristina Roam. Saturday, March 26, 2016. Ski Road Trip Finale. From Colorado we drove west to Salt Lake City (SLC), Utah. The landscape became more desert-like with spectacular rock formations. We arrived at Alta/Snowbird ski resorts, and noticed how warm it was. These gentlemen were the parking attendants at Alta. Kristina noticed these folks with their SKI RATS license plate and asked to take their photo. They were on a 10 day ski road trip. We didn’t see any moose, but we did see a bear.

Pete and Kristina Roam. Sunday, September 25, 2016. Southern Honshu to Shikoku: Length of Japan Cycling Week 4. Day 22, Fujinomiya to Yaizu City, 85 kilometers with 700 meters of climbing. The sight of us on our tandem bike surprises people who see us. We got shouts and waves from this Japanese tour group as we rode past. On this day’s route was Old Sato Pass. Pete and Kristina Roam. Wednesday, June 22, 2016. Colorado is for Cyclists! We drove down from Keystone to Boulder, Colorado for a weekend. We checked out the Avery Brewing Company, which makes close to 30 different kinds of beer. It was fun to sample their sour beers and eat lunch there. It made us happy to see lots of other cyclists as we rode, like these two women dressed in Outdoor DIVAS kits, which is another Boulder female cycling club. Pete and Kristina Roam. Thursday, April 28, 2016. Enjoying Spring in Las Vegas and the Bay Area. We left the Bay Area and drove to Las Vegas to stay with Pete’s sister Denise while she recovered from knee replacement surgery. Here’s Kristina with Denise’s dogs Ruff and Reddy.
