South Luangwa National Park – Zambia. If you want to see leopards, then South Luangwa is the place to go! South Luangwa National Park, in Zambia’s Eastern Province, is about half the size of the Kruger Park. There are no fences- instead the park is bounded by rivers, the mighty Luangwa being the largest. We stayed at Flatdogs Camp. An amazing (and very well priced) lodge on the banks of this impressive river. The owners and staff were incredible, and a truly big thank you goes out to each one of them.

Kgalagadi part 2: Kalahari wildlife. When I first became interested in wildlife photography my mother bought me numerous educational books on the subject. One of the best ones was by Andy Rouse. I have been following his blog. Yes, I know that I am posting the photo below again, but I just love it that much. Jackal shots are awesome Pete! AI also love the mongoose. Zebras, impalas and some ducks. These are some of the first photos I took at KGE (Kansanshi Gold Estate). The zebras are very tame and allow you to get pretty close. This shot was taken after the sun had set, with a shutter speed of 1/13 sec. I could not believe that the head was sharp when reviewing the photos later. I love me a muscovy!
