Smiles, Laughter, Tears. A day in our crazy lives! Wednesday, March 5, 2014. As we approached the 6 month anniversary of Ethan's Melody Valve placement, I've been kind of expecting bad news. Now, I try not to be pessimistic, because it simply is what it is. Good thing I didn't have to. So well, in fact, that we no longer have cardiology appointments every three months-we get to start seeing them every 6 months! Dr Kaine was pretty darn impressed. And so are we. Smiles, Laughter, Tears. A day in our crazy lives! Wednesday, September 3, 2014. Wow, the difference a year makes. That and a working heart! One year ago, almost exactly to the minute, I was just getting comfy in an almost empty waiting room inside Boston Children's Hospital. What an appropriate term. I was waiting for news Ethan had been successfully intubated and was doing well in his cardiac MRI. I was waiting for news he was now getting his echo. I was waiting for answers. And I was a nervous wreck.

Smiles, Laughter, Tears. A day in our crazy lives! Friday, March 27, 2015. This little bald boy of ours. It's been a whirlwind of weeks around the Rawley household. Days run into nights into weekends into weeks and then this happened:. A note came home from school that Ethan was standing with very little assistance from his OT. Gotta see it to believe it, and this picture came home the next day. I cried. And cried. And cried. 10 years 11months we waited for this day. 4 days before his 11th Birthday.

Friday, July 23, 2010. I can't believe Jackson is going to be having his first birthday in a couple of weeks! This year has gone by so fast. When he was tiny I never thought I would say that but he's been so happy and so fun since he was about 6 months old. After some concerns from his last doctors appointment I was worried about Jackson's development but this last month he has made HUGE progress! Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Waiting to get on the Polar Express. Our family enjoying the ride. Kip, Erica, Kennedy, and Anistyn. Jackson loves when his brothers give him some attention! Kaden enjoying his hot chocolate and reading the Polar Express. Nicolas has quiet time in his room every day. He can't take naps anymore or else he stays up for ever and bugs Kaden. Box to name a few. Nicolas is a fun boy and keeps us all entertained with what he says and does each day! Jackson was 4 months on the 6 th.
