Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Sarah turned 8 in December and it was a fun birthday! She started her day getting a present before school. She has been wanting purple shoes and we found some that we all liked. Later that evening we met some of her cousins and Grandma and Grandpa Smyth for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, one of Sarah's favorites. Sarah and her brothers. Ryder and Jack. Friday, August 2, 2013. We 'borrowed' some canoe's for this pose. Aren't they fun? We are lucky to get to hang with Rebecca and Greg at their Glenbrook place nearly every summer! We are spoiled on this private beach and with Greg's cooking too! Jesse and Ren do some canoeing around. Porter and MJ take a turn on the paddle board. I tried it too, and found it very difficult! Thursday, April 30, 2009. Taking our kids to the beach is one of the most relaxing activities we do as a family. They are so good and they just don't get bored. On Monday the boys took their collections of shells and rocks around to our neighbors to show them their "discoveries.". Sunday, April 19, 2009. Spring Break and a visit to Oregon. Easter Eggs. Boys outside, Sarah inside. Geoff Petrie was there and the kids went and said hi. Ryan gave him some advice for the KINGS. Easter dinner with cousins.

Sunday, July 19, 2009. The 3rd and 4th of July. We spent our Fourth of July weekend house sitting/dog watching/garden-watering for Ryan's sister while her family was out of town. Sunday, January 10, 2010. We got all the cousins together (we are missig Danelle's kids.so sad) and went to the mall to have all the kids take a picture with Santa. The litle lady helper wasn't very friendly and we think she should have worked someplace else because she was in a bad mood.oops! We got there at 9:00 and still waited in line for about 40 min.
