MY KIDS RULE and other stuff. Monday, December 14, 2009. The boys and I have found a new past time to try and keep us from watching TV all day. This picture shows it going on into the night. We spent about 2 hours out there on Friday, because I got home from work early, Evan was still asleep. I was freezing and the boys were sad because they still wanted to keep going. . Friday, April 27, 2012. Why is it called the Golden Gate Bridge when it is painted red-orange? Per Gretchen: The bridge did not get it's name from either it's "golden" orange color or that it seems like a "gate" into San Francisco. It took it's name from the Golden Gate Strait, the waterway over which it passes. The strait connects the bay to the Pacific Ocean. The strait was named in about 1849 by a U.S. army captain who said it reminded him of Istanbul, Turkey's Golden Horn Harbor. The Crazy Hill Gang.

MY KIDS RULE and other stuff. Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Today Marci finally decided to get a new dog. Now since it's mostly family who reads this, but if you are blog stalking and come across this, I have NO LOVE FOR DOG's! 160; Does that make me an animal hater probably. . Dogs are mean, and they chase little kids. They pee all over the place. Who knows what they are bringing into your house. And then there's this cutie. Sunday, October 25, 2009. Lily's last day of gymnastics. Lily has been taking a gymnastics class at the Y and loves it. This past week she had her last day of class where the parents get to come into the class and watch.she did the balance beam, bars and floor.her favorite is the bars. Thursday, July 22, 2010. In June Andrea sent me a link about a Segway tour of the DC Mall area. I looked at it briefly and just said, it's too expensive, I could just walk it.
