BananaKnits.com: October 2013
http://bananaknits.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
A knitter's confessions, opinions and life experiences. Monday, October 21, 2013. The Summer flew by I'm ready for some cool weather. The name of the yarn is in Estonian and I'm afraid I can't pronounce the word, there are too many dots . The yarn is wool with long color changes, very similar to the Danish, Kauni. These are my colors, I just look better with strong colors and most of all it puts a smile on my face. The fit is good and it feels like an "old sweater". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

BananaKnits.com: An event that changed my life!
http://bananaknits.blogspot.com/2006/10/event-that-changed-my-life.html
A knitter's confessions, opinions and life experiences. Thursday, October 23, 2014. An event that changed my life! October 23, 1956. This is the 58th anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution. This is the event that changed our lives, my mother and father and we became Political Refugees. We had to flee our home and homeland. War is ugly no matter where or when it happens! The memories are still vivid and dark! Here are some more images from 1956 what we left. This is a magazine that Life Magazine issued a...

BananaKnits.com: August 2013
http://bananaknits.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
A knitter's confessions, opinions and life experiences. Sunday, August 18, 2013. With my fibromyalgia I often get muscle aches and pains. So getting a massage turns into an "oh but it hurts so good! But after the massage I feel better. I really think it helps this old and tired body if nothing else it helps to try and relax. After all the walking and stresses of travel this treatment is a necessity. The view is nice also. I am knitting and as you may have noticed, blogging a lot. Friday, August 16, 2013.

BananaKnits.com: I'm back to almost "Normal"
http://bananaknits.blogspot.com/2015/02/im-back-to-almost-normal.html
A knitter's confessions, opinions and life experiences. Tuesday, February 17, 2015. I'm back to almost "Normal". I can almost walk normal, sort of but definitely on the road to recovery. Yes I can drive any time anywhere I want to. One forgets how precious this simple privilege is, I took it for granted but no longer. It has been a learning experience for me, this is the first time I've broken anything and literally could not walk! Side note is that I discovered Ube. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

A knitter's confessions, opinions and life experiences. Sunday, September 01, 2013. The view from my room. And across the street the Fovam market place. My iPad only speaks and writes in Hungarian. I'm not sure how this is happening but it is. I guess it knows where I am, but how does it know that I speak Hungarian? Check out Rick Steves video that he made at this great market place. A knitter's confessions, opinions and life experiences. Wednesday, May 14, 2014. It's been a while but here I am blogging again. So many changes, new hobbies and new way of eating. Coconut oil or Olive Oil. 2 carrots, grated. I will post p...

A knitter's confessions, opinions and life experiences. Thursday, March 21, 2013. New Class I'm Teaching: Paint Your Project. Let there be color! Turn that boring shawl into something spectacular. Non Toxic Permanent Acid Colors. Right in your kitchen. Have you ever knit a garment and at the time the colors seemed ok but you never wear it? Not toxic yet it's a permanent pigment that tints animal fibers. It is a PERMANENT dye! That is the number one question I am asked, will it wash right out? So I knit a...
