The Ruminations of RayPod: June 2006
http://raypod.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 30, 2006. When Mom went to Nashville, she spent some time wandering around near Broadway, checking out the bars in Printer's Alley, and wondering if there was a market for country western songs about menopause. She noticed this sign down at the corner of Commerce Street, and it reminded her of our friend Scooter. Whom we first got to know through the music of Patsy Cline. Bloomin' Crazy: In remembrance
http://daisydoohdle.blogspot.com/2006/07/in-remembrance.html
The friendly, but futile, rantings of Daisy the Crazy Cat. Why does the sun go on shining? Why do the birds go on singing? Why does Jimmy crack corn if no one cares? Thursday, July 20, 2006. Oliver, Emily and Saffron "Saffy"). Things seemed fine. The kittens ate, they played and they seemed to be growing. Another foster volunteered to help Mom (she had nearly 20 kittens! When she got home from work around 1 am, little Saffy had passed away. She buried her the next morning next to her brother and sist...

The friendly, but futile, rantings of Daisy the Crazy Cat. Why does the sun go on shining? Why do the birds go on singing? Why does Jimmy crack corn if no one cares? Monday, July 24, 2006. Don't stand too close to me. After his last few public gaffes, it's not a stretch to think our Idiot in Chief would mimic the actions of this doll done in his likeness. Wouldn't you love to be a fly on the wall in the Oval Office? On second thought, maybe not. Http:/ www.prankplace.com/fbush.htm. Dicta, visuals and misc.

The friendly, but futile, rantings of Daisy the Crazy Cat. Why does the sun go on shining? Why do the birds go on singing? Why does Jimmy crack corn if no one cares? Tuesday, July 04, 2006. Damn the foam and full speed ahead. NASA is proceeding with the Discovery launch on Tuesday despite the fact a piece of foam popped off the shuttle's external fuel tank as the spacecraft sat on the launch pad. Hmmmmmmm. This sounds awfully familiar . Posted by Doohdle @ 11:22 AM. Why do the birds go on singing?

Shellpile: May 2009
http://shellpile.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
A very, very odd place in a very remote part of the most densely populated state in the United States. Shellpile is a community, and a state of mind. And a very large pile of shells. Monday, May 25, 2009. Was this my town's version of Grey Gardens? And nobody's building on spec in this market. Is there a reason they've fallen in love with it? I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out, and I do wonder: would they mind if I one day knocked on the door and asked to come in? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Shellpile: October 2010

A very, very odd place in a very remote part of the most densely populated state in the United States. Shellpile is a community, and a state of mind. And a very large pile of shells. Friday, October 22, 2010. What's in that black disc, and why does it sing? As we move farther and farther away from that actual tactile, physical representation of recorded sound, I wonder if the disc will become as exotic as it was when first introduced. Eventually, will children wonder at the miracle of sound coming of...

A very, very odd place in a very remote part of the most densely populated state in the United States. Shellpile is a community, and a state of mind. And a very large pile of shells. Tuesday, December 28, 2010. The perils of PC-ness. In my previous life, the holiday season was always a bit of a perilous time of year. It was my responsibility to write a year-end message from company leaders to their employees. The holiday message brought all of that to a head. We had a small staff in China, and they'd be ...

A very, very odd place in a very remote part of the most densely populated state in the United States. Shellpile is a community, and a state of mind. And a very large pile of shells. Monday, January 12, 2009. Yammering, twittering, whatver it is: for a society so concerned about being watched, we’re certainly making it easy. The explosion of social networking websites offers you the chance of using virtually any communications technology to update your 'status' line anywhere you are. One is especially pr...
