Friday, November 4, 2011. But In know this is what the Lord wants me to do, so I am going to continue on.trusting that I am walking down the path He has led me on. Despite my lack of enthusiasm, we are getting some school done. But I'm sure they will do fine and hopefully they will learn something from it. I am right there with you - going through the motions! I posted about it in a small post yesterday on our homeschool blog. Just keep pressing on! Were (Im) going to enjoy a 4 day weekend. I just re...

Monday, November 7, 2011. Starting a fresh week of school this week.and staying at home to do it (instead of going to the craft shop, where we usually go) because we are expecting a few inches of snow today.a good day to just stay inside. Still not having great success in the area of school, but almost getting too tired to care. Just going to move through it and get what we can done each day. Then give you and your kids some laughing, playing, fun time, too. You are a great mom and teacher! Dont miss out...

How KDiggy Rolls: March 2010
http://kdiggy22.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Take lessons and learn. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. We are finally thawing out after a somewhat brutally cold winter for the South. Granted, the brutality didn't touch WY, but still. I guess we have become soft since leaving the wild west. To ring in spring properly, little leprechauns came to my house and turned all of my food green! It definitely took some convincing that green milk and green oatmeal was okay to ingest. The other big activity on my plate at this time? Pitching isn't needed in T-ball?

How KDiggy Rolls: June 2011
http://kdiggy22.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Take lessons and learn. Sunday, June 05, 2011. Another year, another birthday! School is out, weather is hot, water is warm, and life is good. So school. Not to brag, but I. Graduate my illustrious preschool career with honors. Now, yes, everyone else did as well, but that clearly is due to the fact we are all incredibly advanced. Only a gifted child would look like this while waiting to receive his diploma. We were able to celebrate our accomplishments with.FIELD DAY! It was fantastic - for a whole week...

How KDiggy Rolls: February 2011
http://kdiggy22.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Take lessons and learn. Friday, February 25, 2011. I trust everyone is having a great start to the new year! Things are definitely looking up for us now that the weather has warmed up and everything has begun to bloom. Not that the winter was. Bad, but we have softened up considerably since moving to the South. Cold weather is no longer welcome. Gets super grouchy if it is below 65 outside. School has been going well and I have been excelling in my two favorite activities - recess and snack. Would also g...

How KDiggy Rolls: December 2011
http://kdiggy22.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Take lessons and learn. Saturday, December 31, 2011. Football, Mario and an assortment of other things. Um, is it already New Years Eve? Sooo… I suppose I have missed a few updates in the past few months, but don’t despair. I am about to unveil a new feature on KDiggy – the lightening round post. Everything we have been up to in the past several months in under two minutes (well, maybe more, but not much.). Pillow forts. They never get old – especially when Mom is outside and we gather up. Gunning for a ...

How KDiggy Rolls: April 2010
http://kdiggy22.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Take lessons and learn. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Spring 2010 = Busy. Busy, but also a lot of fun! Sully has had a lot of "firsts" and I have had a great time being an expert/troubleshooter for all of the things he is experiencing. You know. since I have done pretty much all there is to do in life at this point. As I think I mentioned before, I have been playing T-ball. I am happy to report that my first season was a huge success. Having the coach for my dad probably didn't hurt things. And an accomplishe...

WV South Magazine Illustrations – Rex Queems
https://rexqueems.wordpress.com/2015/06/20/fledge-the-final-frontier
WV South Magazine Illustrations. Here are a series of Illustrations I did for a series of short stories published in WV south magazine. They all were part of a running P. G. Wodehouse inspired rural serial called “The Fledge Chronicles”. First draft (actually submitted that way). Ben Gray…deer/dear slayer. A challenging pose, but I liked the outcome! To see the many ways he’s fostering a community of art and imagination. June 20, 2015. July 1, 2015. 4 thoughts on “ WV South Magazine Illustrations. My Ori...

Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Life on the rez. There are many things that have changed in my life since moving out here to the reservation.what I wear, what I eat, how I speak, etc. My personality has even changed (I shudder when I think of how loud and obnoxious I was when I first started working out here, 19 years ago). I was reminded of this change as we sat around as a staff and shared prayer requests. Safety while out cutting wood for the elderly and for Navajo churches. Shalako season in Zuni (google...
