Monday, January 29, 2007. It seems that everyone is being put on a cholesterol lowering drug as suggested by their doctor. My Mom recently visited her doctor and was told to consider going on a cholesterol lowering drug for heart disease prevention. Her cholesterol was at a low level already but the doctor said her charts needed to record that she had recommended this drug. If the Medical Association audited the doctors practise and this was not in every one's. Chart the doctor would be reprimanded.
