Die Philip Breuel Stiftung wurde im Jahre 2001 von Ernst und Birgit Breuel zum Gedenken an ihren Sohn Philip Breuel ins Leben gerufen. Philip Breuel studierte an der School of Art and Design in London und in Falmouth, Cornwall. Philip liebte Kinder und die Kunst. Er glaubte an die heilende und aufbauende Kraft der Kunst.
