During the installation of a new kitchen we thought it best to be out of the way, so good excuse for a trip! Well worth the visit. We then hired a self drive boat for three hours, long enough to reach Horning and return. To finish the day, we visited Sheringham, which turned out to be lovely little town, with many 'local' shops, as towns used to be prior to supermarkets. 17th February, and we've arrived into Santander. 2007 TRIPS - SEA & LAND. Clear sky, resulting in unbroken sunshine. February 17th we drove to Portsmouth for the AGM and dinner of the Nimbus Owners Club. Most enjoyable. We stayed at the Ibis for two nights, and took a tour round the harbour Sunday morning, then a good look round the DDay museum in the afternoon. Visited the little Breton town of Josselin. The first visit was on a journey northward from Poitier, passing by, it struck us as attractive, so we stopped and looked around. We remembered it a year later while journeying south from St Malo, so marked it out for a rather deviated stop for a coffee.
