Monday, June 10, 2013. Fasting is not about putting something into me but emptying my self of all that I rely on. Fasting is not about getting God's attention or convincing God to move on our behalf. When I fast I am not stronger but weaker and thus I must let his strength become perfect or I will reveal my sinful nature to those around me.
