Just another WordPress.com food blog. A simple yet very tasty batter for crepes. Fry them carefully in butter. They should be thin enough to read a newspaper through. You can fold them, wrap them in cling film and freeze them. Then microwave them when you want them. Just another WordPress.com food blog. This is a great little recipe for using up egg whites. Really quick too. 200 ml egg white. Mix the ingredients together, to make a sticky mass. Just another WordPress.com food blog. Panna Cotta with Red Berries and Cointreau. Now this is a really easy dessert. One of my favorites. Makes 8 to 10. 900 ml double cream. 4 leaves of gelatine softened in cold water. Assorted berries (eg raspberries, redcurrants, blueberries, blackberries). To serve, dip the pots into boiling water for about 3-5 seconds, turn upside down over a plate and shake the pot from side to side till it pops out. Drizzle the compote around the plate.
