Friday, September 2. At Walmart we came across these fun Superhero masks. Daddy made Phoenix try some on, so I snapped a pic. Too Cute! Mike is a very good Daddy. Fun and firm! Phoenix listens to his Daddy better than anyone else. I say teach mutual respect early and many problems will be avoided later on. Too many parents allow the kid to be in charge! Thursday, September 1. As many of you know, Phoenix was diagnosed in November 2010 as having Pervasive Developmental Disorder, which is along the spectrum of Autism, but cannot be classified as such. They gave him this diagnosis because his speech was delayed and his social skills were lacking. Sunday, May 8. On Mother's Day, it is always tradition to have the primary kids at church sing a song to their mothers. Because Phoenix is delayed and not quite like a normal 3 year old, I wasn't going to have him go up to the front to sing. However, one of his primary teachers came to our pew and helped Phoenix go up to the front. It was so cute! Mom and I got tears in our eyes. Mike was so proud he had to take a picture with his camera phone. Phoenix loves to sing! Love You Little Man!

Tuesday, September 6. First Day of School 2011. Phoenix started his first full year of Early Childhood! We are so excited! Phoenix loves school. He has been singing the songs that he learned (thru gestures mind you, but still singing in his head) last year all summer long. I took Phoenix to school for his first day and gave the teachers a notebook with 3 pages of what Phoenix has learned over the summer. My little boy is growing up! Look at that cute little boy! All ready for school!
