m+m=l : The Ross Family Equation: June 2015
http://mplusmequalsl.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 14, 2015. Since I've become obsessed with baseball, I decided that I wanted to spend my birthday at the ball park. I even splurged and bought the best seats available - no peanut heaven for me! Here's the view from our seats. We weren't quite as close to the action as I thought we would be, but we were right at field level. Our seats also afforded us lots of close-up Pirate Parrot action. Monday, June 8, 2015. What we did in May. After Lauren's birthday weekend, May continued to be a busy mo...

http://mplusmequalsl.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 28, 2014. 54 Weeks of 2014 - Week 39. 52 Weeks of 2014 - Week 38. This week, we had a house guest. This is Dobby, my in-laws Labrador Retriever. As you can see, Dobby fits right in with the rest of our canine family. In fact, instead of sleeping in our room like he usually does, Marcus chose to bunk with Dobby during his stay. Lastly, this was the week that I achieved one of the goals that I had set for myself this year. I got accepted as a photographer for Stocksy. So the credit goes t...

Sunday, March 29, 2015. 52 Weeks of 2015 - Week 12. This week's topic was growth. I couldn't help but take a photo of these crocuses growing near my parents' house. And would you look at that - BEES! It's been too long, my busy, buzzy friends. I had signed Lauren up to make a glass egg at the Pittsburgh Glass Center. Here's the finished product. Camera, but shortly thereafter, I learned about their Instax printer,. Sunday, March 22, 2015. 52 Weeks of 2015 - Week 11. This week's theme was green, but I had...

Saturday, January 31, 2015. 52 Weeks of 2015 - Week 4. This weeks topic was low light, so I just took a photo of the scene I see before I turn in for the night. I sketched a little snow scene since this was the first week that we significant amount of snow (If you call about six inches significant.). Saturday, January 24, 2015. 52 Weeks of 2015 - Week 3. m+m=l : The Ross Family Equation: August 2014
http://mplusmequalsl.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 24, 2014. 52 Weeks of 2014 - Week 34. Monday night we went to PNC Park with Mark's mom and dad to see the Pirates play the Braves. Unfortunately, the Braves scored two consecutive home runs with the first two pitches, and the Pirates never recovered. We also visited the Westmoreland County Fair. Mark and I went to the fair twenty years ago on one of our first dates and have been going off and on through the years. We hadn't gone for awhile, but it pretty much hasn't changed. Lindsey's cake...

m+m=l : The Ross Family Equation: December 2014
http://mplusmequalsl.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Here I am once again on New Year's Eve writing about our Christmas. It's practically become a tradition! Since Mark's extended family were celebrating elsewhere this year, we had just a small gathering at my in-law's house. I didn't take a whole lot of photos, but here are a few of my nephews Noah and Jacob acting cute. Of course that disappointment was fleeting once she started opening her own gifts (Pj's courtesy of cousins Nick and Noreen). Look at that happy face! Aunt P...

Sunday, April 26, 2015. 52 Weeks of 2015 - Week 16. After a very, very long hiatus, we're back to blogging. No reason for it, other than a combination of being busy with other things and procrastination. But I'm all caught up now - for realz this time! This week's theme was "It's a Song." So here we have Marcus watching America's favorite pastime. As for the song, I guess I could have picked "Take Me Out to the Ballgame," but I like this one instead:. Oh, put me in coach, I'm ready to play today. Last ye...

Friday, July 3, 2015. Meet Mr. Pancakes. We have yet to see any dishes being washed, but Lauren has been a great mama to Mr. Pancakes. And apparently he's a Pirates fan, so he fits right in with the rest of the Ross Family! OMG he is precious and I love his name! Is that a tiny Pirate hat? July 6, 2015 at 8:18 AM. Saturday, July 12, 2014. 52 Weeks of 2014 - Week 27. As I've mentioned in the past, in my family we take our sparklers very seriously. My grandfather just loved them, so each 4th of July we light 'em up in his honor. Here's Lauren perfecting the patented "Pranty Twirl.". The "other" Lauren getting indoctrinated into our family's obsession. Yes, it gets a little intense. Thankfully, he hasn't attempted fire eating. Yet. m+m=l : The Ross Family Equation: Rainy day women.
http://mplusmequalsl.blogspot.com/2015/07/at-end-of-june-our-girl-scout-troop.html
Sunday, July 19, 2015. Finally, the weekend arrived. The forecast? Heavy rain and thunderstorms. This was quite a downer since the majority of the activities that we had planned, like campfire cooking, archery, swimming and geocaching, were outdoor activities. Like the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scout motto is, "Be prepared." Our troop motto for that weekend became, "Make the best of it." Well, we did more than make the best of it - we made a heck of a good time! They came out awesome, and the girls loved them.
