宇都宮大学工学研究科電気電子システム工学専攻東口研究室. 本研究室では，レーザー，極端紫外 (EUV)，X線光源，X線顕微鏡，テラヘルツ光学などについて研究していますこれらの光源は，CPUやメモリーの高密度化に必要となる次世代半導体リソグラフィー露光用EUV光源の高効率化に関する研究や，水の窓 (Water Window) 軟X線光源とその顕微鏡に関するものですこの光源の駆動用中赤外レーザーの開発やファイバーレーザーの開発も行っており，学生さんはレーザー発振器，増幅器を手作りしています. 本成果は，3月24日午前10時英国時間英科学誌の Scientific Reportsオンライン版.
