How do I Join? First Step - Become an Associate member. To become an associate member you need to. Sign our Associate Membership/Risk Waiver form. This needs to be handed to the trip leader or new members officer or scanned and emailed to the new members officer. Please ensure there is one form per person. Pay the $10 associate membership fee when attending a club night, deposit directly into our bank account or alternatively you can pay the trip leader on your first outing.

Welcome to YHA Bushwalkers Queensland. July, 2016: A number of club members climbed Mount Greville. And enjoyed the superb view. We are Brisbane-based bushwalking club. We walk throughout South-east Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Club Meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month (with the exception of January when the meeting is on the second Wednesday) at St James Hall, Kirkland Avenue (near the corner of Old Cleveland Road), Coorparoo. Meetings start at 7:30pm.

YHA Bushies offers a range of activities including social events (Soc) and cycling (BR), however our main activity is bushwalking. We offer day trips (DT), through walks (TW) that involve pack carrying and camping overnight, and base camps (BC) where we camp fairly close to our cars and walk each day from the camp site. Each walk is graded using a combination of criteria - distance, terrain and level of fitness required. See Walk Gradings. For further information on the walks grading system.
